Biography
Our band "Spritz Boulevard" formed after increasing pressure from our friends and fans to restart our former band "Stirfly Steve". With our lead guitarist overseas and no more original "Stirfly Steve" members, we decided that a name change was due. After many weeks of deliberation we finally chose "Spritz Boulevard", this quite simply by putting all our initials together. The band consists of Bruno on guitar and vox, Pg on bass, Paul-Rupert on drums and Francis on lead guitar.
A new name meant a new band which left us with the perfect opportunity to explore our style of music. Even though we had a one year absence from the music scene we continued to write music, gradually moving from our usual funk jazz to a much more alternative rock sound, something we had been keen on trying for quite some time. We have now found a sound which we really like and can’t wait to see what South Africa thinks of Spritz Boulevard. We are due to launch our first album titled "Still Tomorrow" in the next couple of months.
